Terms and conditions

  1. Candidates should be professional, semi-professional or advanced and between 12 and 21 years old by 5th of July 2020;
  2. Candidates will be selected from the applications submitted and shall be notified of the results using the primary email address by 15th of March 2020 at the latest;
  3. Applications cannot be accepted without accompanying photographs;
  4. Closing date for the applications is 1st of March 2020. However, due to a limited number of places available, candidates are advised to apply a.s.a.p.;
  5. The committee’s decision is final. The committee is not obliged to elaborate further on the details of their decisions;
  6. The organizers reserve the right to retain all or part of the course fees in the event of the applicant’s withdrawal;
  7. The final schedule for the course shall be posted on the notice board of the studios on the first day of the course;
  8. The organization reserves the right to change the teachers or guest artists in the event of illness or any other unavoidable circumstance;
  9. All candidates must bring the appropriate practice wear. Female candidates are expected to wear a leotard and skin color tights, and bring pointe shoes with them. Male students wear a slim fitting t-shirt and ballet tights;
  10. The organizers will not be held responsible for any damage or injury, however caused, to any person attending the course or third parties, nor for the loss or damage of any property, on or off the premises of the course or of the Stayokay Youth Hostel;
  11.  It is mandatory that the candidate takes out personal health, travel and accident insurance;
  12. No candidate can attend the course if carrying an injury that will prevent them from full participation of the course;
  13. All classes are compulsory and the direction reserves the right to end the course of any student who misses a class without good reason. If absence to a class is unavoidable, students are required to inform a member of the artistic team of their intended absence before the class begins;
  14. Candidates who, due to an injury or medical decision, are not able to participate in the in-depth summer school can cancel their participation by handing over an official document or medical proof. When the candidate has paid the full course fee we are able to refund the course fee minus the non-refundable deposit. The accommodation can be cancelled (and refunded) until 1st of April 2020.  When a candidate is not able to participate in the summer school for another reason than an injury or medical decision, we will have to discuss the possibilities of cancellation and/or refunding;
  15. If the minimum required number of registrations is not achieved, the organization is permitted to cancel the course;
  16. By participating in the Summer School, you consent to photography and video recordings and their publication on our website and social media;
  17. We have a strict no alcohol, no drugs policy. Any participant who does not respect the policy will be asked to leave immediately.
