A fascinating account of the making process of ‘3duets’. The project was an intense research about physicality, control and roles/relationships. Inside the duet format, Cordero offered the three performers her body in turn to move, manipulate, touch and be in charge of. The text describes the working process, her questions, the script and the themes that were given to the performers to work from.

‘Solo?’ (2008)

The Last EssayAs the title would have us presume, this text is Aitana Cordero’s final essay at Dance Unlimited. It is a very personal account where her artistic voice shines through. For this essay, which reads like a short story, she let herself be inspired by among others Jorge Luis Borges and John Berger.Download The last essay (PDF)
