Jimat joined NBA as an Educational Secretary in 2014.

She has received her BA from the Dance Teachers Course at the Amsterdam School of the Arts. In 2013 she graduated at the University of Amsterdam with a Masters in Art and Culture, studying Theatre Studies.

Jimat is also working as a dance teachers with several school including Balletschool De Toverfluit, Utrecht Centrum voor de Kunsten en Buitenkunst.
