The Academy of Theatre and Dance is one of the six academies of the Amsterdam University of the Arts with fourteen bachelor and master study programmes in the fields of dance and theatre.

The school offers higher vocational education for all theatre professions, on stage as well as backstage: students are educated not only as actors, mimers, dancers or choreographers, but also as teachers and professionals in theatre technology, scenography and production.
