Grigori joined NBA as a classical and caractère teacher in 2001.

He trained at the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg and started the first five years of his career at the Kirov Ballet. He joined Het Nationale Ballet in 1994 where he danced until 2005.

In 2008 Grigori received his university Bachelor Degree in Art of Ballet from the Vaganova Ballet Academy. Since he has been working with the NBA Grigori has been invited back as a teacher by his former company in St. Petersburg.
