In the last garden gathering before winter, we are delighted to be joined by the collective Klasse Klima from the University of the Arts Berlin. Klasse Klima are a self-organized, student-led collective, working on anchoring the climate crisis within art education through organizing seminars, workshops, and holding space for ecological thought and climate justice.

They will softly take us into hibernation: We will be imagining a seasonal university, where our days are not shaped by deadlines and rigid timeframes, but by the cycle of the seasons. We explore the tension between institutional-capitalist time and ecological, cyclical temporalities, as we move through the rooftop garden: getting us and the plants ready for a season of hibernation. How might we ease into winter as a time of rest, a time of softness and slowness? What can plants and the practice of gardening teach us for our perception of passing time?
