Artists affiliated with Climate Imaginaries at Sea showcased their work as part of the Warming Up Art Route, a segment of the annual "We Are Warming Up" festival at Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam from October 30th to November 5th.

Guided tours, led by Rietveld students, provided insights into all the works of the Art Route. Müge Yilmaz, representing Gerrit Rietveld’s Material Inquiry Studio of Climate Imaginaries at Sea, presented "200 grams," offering a first impression of her research S.A.L.T.. Carlo De Gaetano from the Interspecies Imaginaries studio of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam unveiled his project "Queer as the Ocean," while Dorothy Blokland (DAS Creative Producing Alumn) from the Global South Perspectives studio of the Academy for Theatre and Dance facilitated the "Power of Water" workshop.

The Climate Imaginaries at Sea initiative explores potential futures concerning sea level rise through a range of artistic and participatory research methods. This project is a collaborative effort involving the Art & Spatial Praxis research group at the Rietveld Academie, the Lectorate of the Academy of Theatre and Dance at the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK), and the Visual Methodologies Collective at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS). These research entities collaborate with ARIAS, an Amsterdam-based platform for artistic research, and a broader network of partners, including Tolhuistuin, the Institute for Sound & Vision, and CoECI – the Centre of Expertise for Creative Innovation.
