•  809 is an event and platform, created by AHK students, dedicated to cultivate connection, initiate collaboration and expand the network of emerging creatives. After a successful debut in June 2023, we have been passionately working on preparing the next edition, scheduled for November 25th in the ATD building. This event offers a diverse and dynamic experience across multiple rooms, each defined by its unique happenings: the 'Jam room,' the 'Experimental room,' the 'Exhibition room,' and the 'Chill room.' • Our ECD teacher Jodi Gilbert will perform on November 24th at the Ramses Shaffy House in Amsterdam with Rara Avis Trio: Jodi Gilbert with voice, Albert van Veenendaal on the piano and Tineke de Jong on the violin. On December 30th Jodi Gilbert plays with All Ellington at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam. All Ellington mixes well known and lesser-known Ellington compositions with remarkable improvisations and solos.
