On 7,8,9 and 10 February, our new studio/podium Gymzaal Lely in Broedplaats Lely located on the Schipluidenlaan 12 in Amsterdam-West, will host the graduation production PERSONA by Vincent van Woerkom, fourth year student of the Mime Study Programme. It is the first production staged by the Academy of Theatre and Dance at this location.
    
The Theatre Technique Department along with the Production Department of the Academy of Theatre and Dance have collaborated with Theater Frascati to convert the gymnastics hall into an auditorium/studio suitable for rehearsals and small-scale presentations or compilations. The space can be used as black box or site location. This is the first opportunity to witness Gymzaal Zuid in use.

About Broedplaats Lely
Broedplaats Lely is a lively and diverse new presentation and meeting place situated in the former Calvijn College opposite Lelylaan station. In addition to a large number of visual artists, it also houses STEIM (Studio for Electro-Instrumental Music) and Kunstcentrum de Appel. Together with our partner Theater Frascati, we plan to make use of Gymzaal Zuid at least till December 2019.
