In September 2021, DAS Research – the lectorate of the ATD – launched an open call for small research development projects to be funded by DAS Research.
Twenty-seven applications were received – from teachers, tutors, BA and MA students and researchers - and were reviewed by the selection committee: Anthony Heidweiller, Laura Cull Ó Maoilearca, Liesbeth Koot and Marijn de Langen. Sixteen proposals were selected for funding.

Carly Everaert (Teacher, Scenography): video essay on access intimacy and disability justice
Katharina Conradi (Teacher, Mime): article on Laban Bartenieff Movement System (LBMS) training
Rose Akras (Teacher, Docent Dance): mapping of teaching method in somatics and movement including with people on the autism spectrum
Paula Montecinos (Mentor, DAS): workshop on politics of voice, listening and sound

Zander Porter (DAS Choreography): research as part of residency at São José dos Campos’s National Institute for Space Research
Amparo Gonzalez Sola (DAS Choreography): article on choreographic research
Renske Ebbers (DAS Creative Producing): workshops linked to RESHAPE program aiming to create fairer working models in the field of arts and culture
