Accessibility
Overhoeksplein, in front of the building, is equipped with bike parking racks where you can park your bike.
There is also a parking garage on Overhoeksplein which offers paid parking for cars. Unfortunately there are no free parking spots available near the building.
DAS Graduate School is wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair access does require assistance from our staff to operate the wheelchair elevator on the ground floor. DAS Graduate School is wheelchair accessible by:
- The front door on the Overhoeksplein side of the 'Grootlab' building. A ramp leads up to the automatic doors.
- A staff member will need to operate the wheelchair elevator directly after the front doors. Reach them by calling +31615617053
- Take the elevator, across from the stairs to your right, to the 2nd floor.
- Exit the elevator and find DAS Graduate School on the opposite side of the hall.
Access the 'kitchen' area through the elevator on the backside (the side opposite the stove, countertops etc.) of the space. Enter the elevator in the hall behind the kitchen to go from floor 2 to floor 2A and exit into the kitchen.
Use the same elevator you would use to get up to the kitchen, to go the theatre on the 4th floor.
On the 2nd floor you will find 4 all gender bathroom stalls. These are located on both corners in the hall behind the kitchen area with 2 stalls on each side.
For a larger, more accessible bathroom, take the elevator to floor -1 and find the bathroom located opposite the elevator.
During presentations that feature loud audio we try to provide everyone with earplugs, but we recommend bringing your own in case you want to be sure of protection for your ears.
Unless stated otherwise at the event page, a sign language interpreter will unfortunately not be present.
