Parisa Madani (*) is a German-Iranian choreographer, community organizer, and performer who graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the SNDO – School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam in 2022. Her work focuses on care and resistance for QTIBIPOC* through the project PARIYESTAN, which has been presented at venues including the Sophiensaele in Berlin and Arsenic in Lausanne and tanzhaus NRW.  

In 2023, she co-founded the Ballroom community project OVAH Hannover for young adults interested in Ballroom culture in Hannover, Germany.  

As a performer, she has appeared at venues including HAU Berlin and the Opera Vlaanderen of Antwerp.  

She is a founding member of the collective Word Of Mouth (WOM) and also a guest lecturer for workshops on "How to Chill 101: Slow Life Studies" at various institutions, including HZT in Berlin and the SNDO in Amsterdam.
