In 1998, she was awarded a DanceWEB scholarship in Vienna, and later became a scholarship student at The Jennifer Muller Company in New York. Aleksandra completed her postgraduate studies in 2012 at a.pass (Advanced Performance and Scenography Study) in Brussels, where she developed her distinctive method The Connector, a framework for collective authorship that she integrates into all her work.

Additionally, she is a co-founder of the Nomad Dance Academy and Nomad Dance Academy Croatia, contributing significantly to the development of contemporary dance in the Balkans and beyond.

Her teaching experience spans a wide array of institutions, including guest teaching positions at the SNDO in Amsterdam, ISAC in Brussels, Sozo in Kassel and the Dance Academy in Zagreb. She also launched the "Modular School" within the framework of Nomad Dance Academy Croatia, an educational platform designed for choreographers and performing artists.

In addition to her dance practice, Aleksandra finds inspiration in complementary art forms such as mural painting and editing dance-related films, enriching her multidisciplinary approach.
