Julien Adjovi

Dancer, choreographer, organizer, and activist, Julien "Wrestler" Adjovi is a key figure in French Krump.

An activist in his discipline for over 16 years, krump, a powerful and lively urban dance. He began his career in the end of 2008 after seeing the movie stomp the yard , and his talent quickly allowed him to develop and launch his career.

From there, projects and opportunities followed.
In 2017, he created his own structure and even “Krumpfest," a gathering and organization dedicated to spread krump culture, producing different type of krump event and choreographic research in krump, and aims to open this discipline to a wider audience and connect it with other artistic practices.

Since then, the wrestler has continued to explore and captivate audiences through the stages, performances, and events he organizes, where he excels as an artist, but also on the stage as a master of ceremonies.

His style is distinguished by the skillful alternation between fluidity and power, which gives an unpredictable versatility to his krump, which he calls “heavy fluidity.”

The name "Wrestler" is inspired by the sport's enormous popularity in the United States.

He also takes this name from the notion that life is a constant fight to keep one's head up, succeed, remain happy and grateful, and therefore to "wrestle."
