The 4th year students of the SNDO - School for New Dance Development graduate by creating two works next to writing a thesis and completing their internship. The first works are usually presented in March/April, the second ones in June. All these programs take place in venues outside the school offering the students professional working conditions and the artistic context.
The March/April programmes are presented in two theaters in Amsterdam.
- Maria Metsalu, Samira Elagoz, Tiana Hemlock-Jensen, Nadia Bekkers and Sabine Cmelniski present their work in Frascati
- Lester Arias, Maciek Sado, Ida Katinka Fridan Pedersen and Pavlos Marios Ktoridis present their work in Veem House for Performance.
The students have been invited to curate their own graduation festival, structuring and presenting their works in the context and format which they find most appropriate and inviting for their audience. In June the works will also be presented in two venues and each evening is uniquely composed of different performances and appearances. On Saturday, June 11th, the festival reaches its peak with a graduation party in Frascati.
The June programmes are presented in Frascati 4 and 2.
