Hanna Hegenscheidt (DE) is a choreographer and teacher, based in Berlin. At her studio 142 in Berlin-Kreuzberg she offers regular classes in Klein Technique™, based on the teachings of Susan Klein, Barbara Mahler and Irmgard Bartenieff. As a performer she has worked with Lise Brenner, Martin Clausen/Two Fish, Achim Freyer, Reinhild Hoffmann, Robert Wilson a.o. Since 2005 she is creating her own work. Her interest is to zoom into bodily gesture, and make visible bodies and their affective qualities as they communicate with other bodies. How can the different degrees and layers of intensity in relations be dismantled? What does the displacement or reorganisation of relations produce?

Currently she is developing techniques of distancing in human communication, working with the separation and reconfiguration of spoken word and body language. Mentors: Andrea Božić, Stephan Weiland; Thanks to: Sher Doruff, Jeroen Fabius, Jorge Gonçalves, Annette Gödde, Ulrich Huhn, Velvet Lee, Maria Scaroni, Franziska Schrage, Lito Walkey and the rest of AMCh
