From exhibition design to opera design
Different disciplines come together in the Scenography course. This means that the professional practice and work perspective for a graduated Scenograaf also has several options. The stage designer can profile himself both inside and outside the performing arts. From exhibition design to opera design, from theatrical installations to autonomous artists. In their current professional practice, alumni are a wonderful sample of all these options.
Projects
Vocational education at the Academy of Theater and Dance is aimed at allowing students from the various programs to collaborate intensively during their studies. This way of working is a wonderful learning experience for future professional practice. The dynamics of working in a team is an important facet in the (design) process from idea to implementation. As a result, this form of collaboration also contributes to the individual development of the theater maker. Students learn how to relate to the creative process both guiding and collaborating.
