After your studies

Our graduates are creative, musical and enterprising actors and contemporary music theatre makers who thrive in an interdisciplinary context. Many of them work in theatre, film and television, in musicals, cabaret or other interesting areas where ideas and imagination are needed and valued. Others perform in their own dramatic work or cabaret shows, or start running their own company. Countless interesting, passionate and talented individuals have graduated from our school over the past 140 years (it was established in 1874!). Some of them are well known – famous, even. Others, while not being household names, have fantastically interesting and long-lasting careers.

Whatever you decide to do, there will always room for more imaginative and creative ideas. You might want to start something up yourself, you might be invited to join in an existing initiative, and you might end up someplace you never thought possible. This school will equip you with the tools to practice your profession anywhere, to build a sustainable career, and to conquer your own place in the world. offers practical information about starting your career as a self-employed person or in employment in various fields of work. For creative, performing and teaching artists from different disciplines and for auxiliary professions in the performing arts.
