The Dance Teacher study programme is a broad-based vocational training, during which you invest in dance technical development as well as in developing choreographic insights and qualities.

You learn to enable artistic ideas to be executed in the field of th eatre technics. You develop yourself into a fully fledged member of the creative team. You're one of the initiators of the artistic concept and from the early stages you're responsible for the implementation of the entire theatre image: light, sound and scene.

You're trained to become an actor for classical and modern repertory theatre, music and cabaret theatre, film and television as well as a performer of own drama and cabaret.

Graduates of the Mime School are actors and theatre makers with a unique approach and a strong physical and spatial sensitivity.

Modern Theatre Dance educates you to become a versatile dancer, who actively participates in the process of creation together with the choreographer. You will be immersed in contemporary dance styles and academic dance at a high technical level.

The bachelor's programme of the National Ballet Academy is the completion of the ballet dancer training; an intensive training programme that teaches students the skills needed to dance with (international) top companies.

The study programme offers a study in creative producing where you will be trained to become a production manager, stage manager or assistant director for all conceivable forms of performing arts.

The School for New Dance Development (SNDO) teaches students to become choreographers/dance makers, able to contribute to the development of dance as an art form.

The Summer School is an in-depth 2 week summer course for ballet dancers between 15 and 21 years of age, organized by the National Ballet Academy in collaboration with the Dutch National Ballet. This year, the AISS takes place from 8 through 13 July 2013.
