Marijke Schaap works as a business manager, dramaturg, producer and teacher. At the Academy of Theatre and Dance, in addition to her work for the DAS Creative Producing master's programme, she teaches dramaturgy, cultural policy and cultural entrepreneurship to various bachelor's programmes and is head of the thesis committee for the Production and Stage Management programme.
Besides her work for the ATD, Marijke is business manager of De Tekstsmederij - a talent development platform for playwrights. In this capacity she works on creating an infrastructure for new stories and emerging playwrights. In addition, Marijke is a board member of several theatre organisations and a member of the Nederlandse Toneeljury.
