The Wastelands week took place from Monday 6th of March – Friday 10th of March 2023 at the Academy of Theatre and Dance.

All first-year students of the Academy of Theatre and Dance (ATD) took part in a very inspiring 'Wastelands week'. A multidisciplinary programme made with and for students. The 'regular' study programme of the various programmes made way for the Wastelands programme that week.

What is Wastelands?
Wastelands = ‘uncultivated land’

The title ‘students for students’ refers to the vision behind the programme. A group of colleague students, representing the bachelor programmes of the ATD, have created the content of this week for you. Big thank to all of you for the commitment and energy you pursued to sit with us (representatives of all ATD divisions) in the later hours of the day  to build this programme!

During this week, you can connect and get to know each other better, find answers to questions what other educations are about, work on future and present work field connections and of course, have chill time. Friday is PARTY time!
