From Monday 26 February – Friday 1 March 2024 students curate the Wastelands week at the ATD.

Since last November 20 first-year students, who represent the great mix of first-year students of 11 departments of the Academy, together form the Wastelands Team. They have been meeting once every 2 weeks to organize an inspiring Wastelands week: a multidisciplinary programme for all first-year students of the Academy of Theatre and Dance (ATD).

During this week the ATD 1st year students will meet again, have the chance to discover more about the other departments and get to know each other on another level. 
A little tip of the veil: A Day in the Life of…… House of Vineyard …. ATD Bake off……. Lunching together….Inspirational Workshops…. End of week party…..and much more.

So from Monday 26 February – Friday 1 March 2024 the ‘regular’ study programme of the various departments will make way for the Wastelands programme!

Besides the day programme the Wastelands Team will create multiple hangout / inspirational rooms that are open to use throughout the week. You will find a description of the rooms in the day programme.

Lunch & Dinner – From Monday till Thursday we will have lunch together in studio 809. A moment to come together, share and relax. On Friday, studio 8.09 will change into a restaurant where we will have a shared dinner, after which there will be an End Party in the Danstheater.
