On 5 September 2025, the Harry Wich Scholarship was awarded to fourth-year scenography student Selina Losa Gonzáles.

Known for her work at the crossroads of theatre, installation and site-specific theatre, Selina creates spaces in which rituals, powerful images and human encounters come together. ‘She thinks from a personal perspective, but takes this further into the world and materialises it,’ according to the jury.

The €12,500 scholarship will enable her to further develop her skills as a scenographer in the coming period.

About the Harry Wich Scholarship
The Harry Wich Scholarship for scenography was established in memory of scenographer Harry Wich, who died in 2002. It is intended for a graduate of one of the four scenography programmes in the Netherlands for further study or professional development. The €12,500 scholarship gives one talented, curious, adventurous student with a sense for theatre the opportunity to further enrich their studies, for example by studying abroad. The other three nominees each receive €1,000, also intended for education and/or professional development.
