On Monday 30 September at 17:30, the presentation of the ATD Fund Student Awards will take place in the hall of the Academy of Theatre and Dance: Top Naeff Prize, André Veltkamp Scholarship and Henny Kamerman Dancer Prize. We cordially invite you to attend. Afterwards, there will be a festive reception in honour of the 150th anniversary of De Toneelschool, the germ of the entire Academy of Theatre and Dance. Alumni of all dance and theatre programmes are also invited to this.

Are you curious to know which of our alumni are among the laureates? Then come to the hall of the ATD on 30 September. The laureates who received the award earlier will act as special guests. Pleun Swart (graduating OPP) is the evening's presenter and Roman Derwig (ATKA) will give a performance.

• The Henny Kamerman Dancer Prize 2024 goes to Maria Gomez Becerra (NBA Bachelor Classical Ballet Teacher) and Yasmin Diktaş (Dance Teacher).

Our Scholarships and Awards
Annually, we take care of the presentation of several awards. These include the Henny Kamerman Dancers Prize, awarded to the most outstanding dancer or dance innovator, and the Top Naeff Prize, recognizing a promising actor or mime artist. Additionally, we provide financial support for the creation of newly choreographed work through the Aart Janszen Fund. The André Veltkamp Grant is aimed at a graduation production that excels, and warrants an audience outside the Academy of Theatre and Dance.

Through the Jan Kassies Fund, we assist students facing financial challenges in completing their education. Financial stress can significantly impact students, which is why we also offer the Jan Kassies Emergency Fund alongside the Jan Kassies Scholarship.
