The academy had the great pleasure of welcoming the Canadian/Serbian teacher Ana Jojic-Begovic to give guest classes in the week of 24 to 28 October. This time, Jojic-Begovic – who was also one of the teachers at our Amsterdam International Summer School last July – taught all the classes of the preliminary courses, i.e. NBA 1 to NBA 7. As a former soloist with the National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Belgrade, Jojic-Begovic has built up an impressive international career as a teacher over the past thirty-plus years. Her teaching posts have included Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto, John Cranko School in Stuttgart, and Elmhurst Ballet School in Birmingham. She is currently the senior ballet teacher at the Mosa Ballet School in Liège.
