EXCHANGE - students Dance in Education en Ecole des Sables in Senegal

Published on

Third- and fourth-year students of the Dance in Education programme travelled to Senegal for four weeks, from 5 March to 4 April 2022. They danced together with a group of African dancers in Ecole des Sables in Toubab Dialaw.

The transcultural approach is one of the main focusses of the programme. How do you meet people as a dance artist? How do you build bridges between cultures? The Dance in Education Department therefore structurally collaborates with Ecole des Sables in Senegal.

At Ecole des Sabels, students followed classes and workshops given by Patrick Acogny. In this news item you can read more about his teaching and movement method.
