The current ongoing consequences of covid-19 are and will continue to reshape the fragile artistic landscape; especially theatre networks, houses, and festivals. On November 3-13, DAS Theatre, Asa Horvitz and Andrej Nosov host 'DAS TALKS', a series of free online public conversations with artists working in important theatre institutions, networks, and houses in the theatre field. Together, we will explore the current crisis in the field and learn how institutions are responding to the corona situation:

How do theatre institutions work today and who are the institutions? What happened to programmes, concepts, artists, frames, and networks? How are they adapting and with what future in mind (knowing we cannot predict or control what will come)? What structural inequalities have been highlighted by the pandemic? What changes in institutions can creators and artists expect? What is the perspective of institutions themselves, what processes have started? Will they be slow, fast? What happened, and what will happen to “us”?

We welcome you, the artistic community, to join us on Zoom, and to bring your questions, concerns, desires, fears, and hopes.
