Dionne Verwey and Jennifer Muntslag have won the Joop Mulder Plak 2020. Theater maker and actor Dionne Verwey graduated from the Mime School in 2012 and is currently a student at the DAS Creative Producing Master's programme.

Oerol honors the pair for their live talk shows Tjiftjaf in de ochtend met Jennifer en Dionne and De Avond In met Jennifer en Dionne on the alternative festival platform Het Imaginaire Eiland.

The jury was unanimous in its decision: “With the talk shows they designed for Het Imaginaire Eiland, they not only made the connection between the programme and the audience, they have translated their own curiosity, who they are and the story they want tell into an extensive programme of ten broadcasts. They have plunged with us into the new medium of online live television, both for us and for themselves. They have worked very intensively with Erika Zeegers, the sign language interpreter at Het Imaginaire Eiland, and worked together with her as a team to make the talk shows more accessible. ”

A sum of € 10,247 is linked to the Joop Mulder Plak, which was raised by donors and sponsors of Oerol. This incentive prize gives Dionne and Jennifer the opportunity to develop their own work for Oerol.
