Programme DAS Open Doors | 10 November

On November 10, we will open our doors to introduce you to the DAS Graduate School master and research programmes: DAS Theatre, DAS Choreography, DAS Creative Producing, DAS Research.
  
You are welcome to meet artistic directors, staff and students, get a taste of the practices of our peers by participating in workshops, and join us for a communal dinner.

PROGRAMME
Reza Mirabi a student of DAS Choreography, opens his studio during his 4-week residency to give a glimpse into his practice. During research here at DAS Graduate School, he engages with contradictory binaries and speculates on possible and impossible synergies with a focus on the relationship of culture and nature.

We’ll be also launching DAS Radio, a conversation over dinner about art, community, and performance. It is produced by students aims to open up the research and practices of the artists within the school to the wider community of the city. With: Max Gold, Ira Brand and Samara Hersch

And Jacuzzi will be joining is this afternoon. Jacuzzi is a convergence of Amsterdam-based choreographers, who act as a fluid support structure for each other and a host body for a multitude of movement practices and performance related events. At Jacuzzi we gather in order to share, reflect, problematise and imagine new conditions for art production in order to practice and celebrate our enthusiasm for the importance of dance. 

Join us for the How Do You Work Session with Mette Edvardsen - performer, choreographer. The session will take place from 11:30-16:00; with break. Afterwards you are welcome to join us for the communal dinner, and ask all your questions about our curriculum and admission. More info.

DAS Graduate School
DAS Graduate School was established by the Academy of Theatre and Dance (Amsterdam, the Netherlands) in order to bring its master’s, doctorate and research programmes together under one roof. 
We offer an environment where new ideas, approaches and practices can be instigated and exchanged; a place of research and development, meant to have an impact on the future of the performing arts field.
