Alumni Academy of Theatre and Dance nominated for Nieuwe Theatermakersprijs 2017

The Nederlands Theater Festival announced the nominations for the BNG Bank Nieuwe Theatermakersprijs 2017. No less than six productions from and with ATD-alumni have been nominated!

The following performances are nominated for the prize for  the most promising theater maker, younger than 35 years:

- Windstilleven by Collectief Walden (Director: Maren Bjørseth, graduated  at Theatre Directing in 2012 and René van Bakel, actor en scenographer, graduated in 2010 at the Mime School);
- Het leven is droom by Olivier Diepenhorst / Toneelschuur Producties (graduated  at Theatre Directing in 2013);
- Cock cock, who’s there? by Samira Elagoz (graduated at SNDO in 2016);
Earlier this year, nominated were:
- Karaoki Kanye by Club Gewalt;
- Missie Márquez (deel 4, 5 en 6) by  Karlijn Kistemaker / Kompagnie Kistemaker (graduated aan de Theatre Directing in 2013);
- Untitled, 2017 by Nineties Productions / with Anne Maike Mertens, graduated in 2011 at Theatre in Education, Yannick Noomen in 2010 at ATKA en Mara Aronsen in 2012 at Production and  Stage Management (Paradiso Melkweg Productiehuis);
- Ivanov by  Nina Spijkers / Toneelschuur Producties (graduated at Theatre Directing in 2014).

De winner will be announced in 7 september, during the opening of Nederlands Theater Festival.
