Choreographer Jija Sohn, graduate from the SNDO in 2015,  is selected for Moving Forward, a new residency programme for emerging choreographers.

Moving Forward is a co-production of Dansmakers Amsterdam and Amsterdam Dance Group, in collaboration with the production houses Dansateliers, Dance Brabant, Random Collision and Generale East. Together they represent the network Moving Futures, which aims to make a new generation of choreographers visible on a national scale.

The partners offer Sohn support in the form of artistic advice, production, publicity, workshops, studio, presentation and installation time. The process leads to a new performance, premiering during the ITs Festival 2016.
