From September onwards, the doors to the AHK Starterscafé will reopen! For the 2024-2025 academic year, we have a wonderful programme lined up with inspiring (free) workshops focusing on the business side of professional practice. During the Kick-off, the annual programme will be presented.
The theme of this evening is: The commercial side to creating: coexistence or competition?
Are you perceived as a professional in theatre if you pursue a career in musical theatre? Is it frowned upon if you work in advertising making commercials as a filmmaker or actor? And what could "being commercially minded" actually bring to the table for you as a creative professional?

Keynote speaker for this evening is motivator Eva Eikhout. As a passionate entrepreneur, Eva, with plenty of self-mockery, shares her insights on fighting against external pressures and becoming friends with yourself. Her unique story and perspective perfectly align with our theme: how commercial do you want to be as a creator?
