Zeynep Gündüz
Zeynep Gündüz is teacher and researcher in media, dance, and performance.
She holds a BA diploma in classical ballet from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey, and has studied modern dance at the Academy for Theater and Dance (AHK). Following her dance degree, Zeynep has completed a BA and MA in Media Studies (University of Amsterdam) and has gained her Ph.D degree on dance and new media in 2012 at the University of Amsterdam.
As researcher Zeynep is currently interested in multi-modal learning and does practice-based research on Mobile Choreography (creating films with mobile phones) and multiple perspective storytelling in Virtual Reality, together with the Amsterdam-based collective PIPS:lab.
She currently teaches Dance Studies at the Academy for Theater and Dance (AHK) among other institutes.
Zeynep is advisor for the Dutch Perfoming Arts Fund (FPK) since 2015.
