Hello new ATD student, welcome!
For everyone it is the first day at the school, seeing new faces and the start to get to know each other. Today is the general kick off and introduction. Please, pass by the ATD Intro Week desk in the hall for the sign in. Your attendance is required during the entire Intro Week. Unexpectedly unable to participate? Your first entrance as a prospective student at the Academy of Theatre and Dance!
From 10:15am you can walk into the Academy of Theatre and Dance and meet the Intro Week team, consisting of Academy staff and second year students. 
Please make sure you are present no later than 10:45am, and please sign in at the hall.

On the first day you will get, from the ATD Platform Sustainability, a reusable cup to use for your daily drinks in the academy. Every morning during the Intro Week we will provide a warm welcome with coffee and tea. Please bring your cup every day.

11:00-12:15 Intro week opening
We will start with a general introduction by the Intro Week team and a welcome from thethe director of the ATD in the Theaterzaal. Also you will meet some senior years and artistic directors from different departments who will give a glimpse of their programme. And perhaps the do & don't in Amsterdam or the Academy. Academy staff will also be present at this introduction.

12:30-13:30 Lunch
Lunch will be served each day (at times listed in the schedule) in studio 809 on the 8^th floor near the roof terrace.
All week lunch will be vegan/vegetarian and provided by Carmen from Starlounge, the cafeteria located in the academy. When you have any dietary requests, please come to the Intro Week team on the first day of the Intro Week.

13:45-16:15 Meet & Greet
In the afternoon we will briefly walk you through the Intro Week schedule to give you an idea of the days and content. Also you will sign up for the workshops that are taking place this week. The latest version of the schedule can be found on this website and in the hall at the Intro Week desk.
Furthermore, we get to know each other better in smaller groups, divided into different rooms, with a creative assignment. These works of art will be hung in the Academy's main hall at the end of the afternoon and may be taken home at the end of the week.

16:30-17:00
To finish off the day we all come together in the Theaterzaal to exchange and have a drink together.
