From 11:30 - 23:00, the online form will be open and you can choose a performance at De Parade on Thursday 29 August.
Make your choice as soon as possible to make sure you have a ticket. On Thursday 29 August, you can pick up your performance ticket and dinner voucher at the entrance of De Parade between 17:00-18:00. Barbara and Linda will be there to hand out these tickets/vouchers.

As a society, we have ended up in a stressed out and divided world in which the struggle for profit, winning and competition dominate. What does it take to break out of this pattern of scarcity? Can artists function in a different way, and not take division, but connection as a starting point? Can we face the problematic state of our society and stay sane at the same time? 

Merlijn Twaalfhoven is composer and author of the book It is up to us - why we need the artist in ourselves to save the world. He creates an active session, together with a musician, in which we explore our own capacities to deal with the clusterfuck of our time. How can we embrace uncertainty and navigate through a fluid and changing world? Let’s explore how you can stay sane and activate your idealism with an artist mindset. 
 
Merlijn is also the founder of The Turn Club, a collaboration of art professionals, change agents and bridge builders, and co-initiator of the Social Creative Council in The Netherlands, a lobby club for new values and imagination. 

17:00-18:30 Sharing the AHK city
We invite you, while enjoying a drink in the Theaterzaal, to view the photos taken by the 1st year students during their tour of Amsterdam along all AHK academies. The opportunity to get to know your new fellow students!!!

17:00-18:00 De Parade – pick up your voucher and ticket
From 16:00 you are free to travel to De Parade. The venue is about a 10-minute bike ride and about 30 minutes by public transport. 
Between 17:00-18:00 you can pick up your diner voucher and performance ticket at the entrance of De Parade. Barbara and Linda will be there to hand out the tickets. 

You can choose your performance online on Wednesday 28 August from 11:00, via de link above. Please meet Barbara or Linda in the hall of the ATD when you have any questions.

17:00-21:00 De Parade
Note: The mentioned time is an indication.
You will receive from the ATD the entrance to De Parade, a diner voucher to spend in one of the many restaurants there and the ticket of the performance you have chosen. You are free to go home after the performance or stay longer on the festival.

16:30-18:15 Let's create + sharing is caring 
Location: Danstheater
The moment is there, the theatre opens. The first years are showing their very first creation! You are welcome to come and encourage them. Sharing is Caring!

18:30-19:30 Dinner
We conclude with a diner together with first and second years on the roof terrace of the ATD (if the weather is nice, otherwise studio 809).

19:30-23:30 Intro Week Party
And for desert, a delicious party in the Theaterzaal with DJ!
