Reza Mirabi (Iran/Germany) is a visual artist, choreographer and dancer based between Berlin and Amsterdam.
With his practice, he looks at - or rather listens to the political and social by observing their movements or lack of. By always starting from the body and resolutely returning to the body, his work delves into practices of listening. Listening as a political process and choreographic unfolding - to find gaps, to unravel new movement in, and to eventually articulate, our contemporary crisis otherwise.
Reza’s work comes in the shape of immersive installations that hold space for dance; a dance that in return seeks to hold space for fiction, memory and difference.
