Alice: "Togetherness holds the hand of alterity, in the impossibility of ever fully bridging the distance that exists between us whilst insisting on the attempt.

I look at group choreography as an active search for ways we can be together and produce a common: sharing a space and time, a mental frame, activity, etc.. so many elements that shape individual experience, in a tight relationship with the awareness of what exceeds one self.

I look at it as an experimental practice: every attempt raises anew the question of its structure, of the parameters upon which can we act in order to create a common, as much as the question of its tangibility. Which understanding of togetherness is being presented? How?

I develop group practices for moving and talking together with other people, building shared knowledge and experience. To invoke other groups, other situations, into the here and now of our gathering. We are many parts of many groupings, re-assembling over and over again and discovering what each particular composition can be."
