This performance-lecture draws on Kai Syng Tan’s new book Neuro-Futurism and Re-Imagining Leadership: An A-Z towards Collective Liberation (Palgrave Macmillan 2024), which calls for a re-imagination of ‘leadership’ as a trans-disciplinary, (co-)creative, diversified, decolonised, neuro-queered practice of change and future-making.

The event will also feature a response by the collective shy*play (Aion Arribas and Antje Nestel) as they interpret the book of Kai through their lens of doing neurodiversity. Their intersectional approach is rooted in their art practice, which explores the potential of neurodiversity to create artful socialities beyond the dominance of normality.

Sanne Kersten will host the event.

After the presentations, there will be drinks.
