How did you start this collective?
Our collective began at the end of our first year of training in June 2022. Around this time, we were asked to create our own work, which led to our first collaboration and our first performance. In 2024, we decided to continue as a collective, under the name "Persona Collective."

We've noticed you work a lot in Germany. How did you establish these connections?
In 2025, we had the opportunity to work extensively in Germany. Our second performance, "ECHOES," premiered there, we gave a week of workshops, and were also able to perform our first piece, "PERSONA," there. This was all thanks to someone we met at the Tanzwerkstatt Europa festival in Munich. We responded to an open call from the festival and were selected to perform our performance, "PERSONA," there.

What are you currently working on?
We're currently busy expanding our performance 'PERSONA' to a full-length show. We briefly had a residency for this last month, but we're still actively looking for a new venue to further develop it, so any tips are welcome!

What are your sources of inspiration?
Our biggest source of inspiration when creating a new performance is ourselves. We learn so much from each other. We all practice different styles, which means we're constantly inspired by each other.

Is there a performance of yours we can see soon?
We've just finished a few performances and are now focusing on our performance 'PERSONA'. We want to develop it further, so there are no performances planned at the moment. 'PERSONA' is currently back in research mode. However, 'ECHOES' is ready to be presented to the public. You can find all performance updates on our Instagram @persona__collective.
