Iva Lešić – teacher Dutch National Ballet Academy

Iva Lešić started dancing in Sarajevo and has graduated from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.

In 1999 she joined the International Dance Theatre (IDT) where she danced for more than ten years while becoming a member of its artistic team.

Iva joined the Dutch National Ballet Academy as World Dance teacher in 2010. Next to teaching at the Dutch National Ballet Academy she created several choreographies and has been leading many workshops.

Iva also works as a registered physiotherapist at physiotherapy practice “Fysio Diamond Factory” in Amsterdam. In addition to her work in regular physiotherapy, she specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of dance injuries. Iva is also affiliated with the Dutch National Ballet Academy as a physiotherapist.

Iva also teaches Anatomy and Injury Prevention.
