15-16:15 Sharing: Drawing Water from Stone (Staging the storm)
Drawing Water from Stone is our first attempt at staging a cyclonic super storm called Amphan which caused widespread damage in India and Bangladesh in 2020. The sharing is structured in the form of five songs (prayers) about the histories of this storm. Through the staging we are trying to find ways of thinking about/with the storm in a world which is being affected constantly by extreme weather events like floods, fires, draughts and storms.
