The ATD Lectorate is happy to announce that the launch of the video-essay film “On pain worth sharing “ is going to be on the 15th of May from 16:00 till 18:00 at VOX-POP (UvA’s exhibition space: ).
This film is the second open-source video-lesson as part of “Interdependence: disability justice and the (performing) arts “, a joint research project of Carly Everaert and Mira Thompson . You can see the website of the project here.
Their first video lesson “On access intimacy” was launched last year and has proven its importance on numeral occasions in symposia and practice based or academic educational surroundings.A small “Interdependence“ exhibition will support the launch of the film.
Both video-lessons will be showcased with their accompanying manuals and image-descriptions.
The exhibition will be on from the 15th of May until 28th of May with opening hours from 9:00 - 18:00 hrs.
There will be some live events around the themes of pain and access.
