In 2010, the foundation acquired the Emma Morel Fund from the estate of the daughter-in-law of the actress Emma Morel (1883-1957). Emma Morel graduated from drama school in 1901 (cum laude) and was a celebrated actress in the 1920s with, successively, the Koninklijke Vereniging het Nederlands Tooneel, the Gezelschap Rika Hopper and Herman Heijermans' Schouwtooneel. Subsequently, two of her films are known: Pygmalion from 1937 and Vadertje Langbeen from 1938.

The will asked for the fund's interest to be spent on a prize, to be awarded annually to the best student of the graduating class of the Drama School. The board decided to use the funds to support the already existing prize with the same purpose, namely the Top Naeff Prize, which from 2012 will thus have the subtitle 'made possible by the Emma Morel Fund'.
