Henny Kamerman Dansersprijs

The prize is named after Henny Kamerman, who built up and led the Jazz Theatre and Show Musical Dance academy (the current UC/JMD) from the late 1980s to 2002. Within the established dance world of modern and classical, she managed to create an academic basis for jazz dance. Her energy and contrariness in the dance world are taken along by the jury.

The Henny Kamerman Prize is part of the ATD Fund.
The ATD Fund supports students from all study programs at the Academy of Theater and Dance to complete their education and make the step into the professional field.

The ATD Fund is the collective name of seven named funds: Top Naeff Prize Fund - Emma Morel Fund - Jan Kassies Fund - Aart Janszen Fund - Hanny Veldkamp Fund - Pisuisse Prize Fund, Het Collectie Fund and the André Veltkamp Fund.

One of the activities of the ATD Fund is the annual award and presentation of the André Veltkamp Grant, the Top Naeff prize and more recently the Henny Kamerman Dansersprijs.

Sincerely,

The Jury of the Henny Kamerman Dansersprijs
Honey Eavis | Dalton Jansen | Wendy Tadrous-Paulusma
