The ATD Lectorate is delighted to announce that the ATD Teacher-Researcher Fellowship 2023-24 has been awarded to Aster Arribas in collaboration with Antje Nestel, for their project Neurodiversity as relation in arts education.

This research project will explore the potential of the neurodiversity* paradigm as a means to produce inclusive practices within arts education - including through the development of a cross-departmental course for students and teachers.

Aster Arribas is a teacher-researcher at the School for New Dance Development (SNDO) and a member of the Embodied Knowledge in Theatre and Dance research group in the ATD Lectorate.
The project will begin in September 2023 and will run for 1 year.

The ATD Teacher-Researcher Fellowships scheme was launched in 2022 with projects by Carly Everaert, and the duo Roos van Berkel and Esther Snelder
