'Well they are just two lovers, one is standing on the balcony and one is not.'
The first graduation performance of the year is about to premiere at the Academy of Theatre and Dance. Romeo & Juliet investigates the youthful urge for life, destruction and passion. More pop-concert than theatre. More Sylvia Plath than Shakespeare.
The performance merges the classical material with personal manifestos on queer sexuality. The result is a tumultuous plea for more emotionality.
Performances are from November 7th till 11th at 20:00.
