Location: in the garden on the rooftop of the ATD.
Dear friends and fellow gardeners,
As we are harvesting what has grown over the year, Autumn reminds us of the equilibrium of new life and rot and decay. It’s time to gather in the garden, and let the plants teach us about how to hold on, how to let go, and how to move towards the soil: so for our coming gathering, we are invited to connect to generational wisdom, seasonal relations and family cosmologies.
It’s a pleasure to invite you to the next Garden Gathering: Family Cosmologies on the
17.10 from 16:30 with artist, researcher, and fellow gardener Yoeri Guépin. Through films, workshops, lectures, communal gardening projects and field trips, his practice responds to injustice and systems of marginalization. Drawing from his experience of being raised in several organic-farming communities, Yoeri will show a film he made with his grandmother (who was a biodynamic farmer) and connect the cosmological drawings from her notebook to the current seasonal and political moment.
After this beautiful offering, we will share the harvest of cabbages, herbs, and other treats from the garden in a delicious dinner together. If you happen to have a family recipe you'd like to bring, we would love that!
We are looking forward to your kind presence!
