Graduation performance by Tea Verschoor (Scenography)

“the other day we were biking
and we shouted
I'M ALIVE FOR THE DEAD FREAKS!
most days we scream
I'M ALIVE! and we are
but some days we feel the ones that are gone too soon
flowing in our bodies
stumping through our bones
the freaks, it’s you , it's me, it’s them.
it is a legacy we carry with a warm embrace
everyday we are alive
most days i am alive
some days it is them that lead the living.
now a layer has come to rest
laying itself on top of the memories that
were too hurtful to digest;
not a choice,
a mere mechanism.
soon it will show cracks
to stump on
to flow through
to find its way back into embrace”
 

PALLAZZO DELUX(E) is a performance installation on the different faces of mourning, how they oppose and synchronize.
It will open its gates on the 6th and 10th of December for you.
How do we sit with absence? Where does our love go?
